Bulova
Founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, Bulova is an American watch brand with a rich history of innovation. It is particularly famous for introducing the Accutron in 1960, the world's first electronic watch, which used a tuning fork to keep time with unprecedented accuracy. Iconic models include the Lunar Pilot, a watch worn on the moon, and various classic dress watches from its golden era. While often using Swiss or Japanese movements, Bulova's pioneering spirit, especially with the Accutron movement, left an indelible mark on horology, blending American ingenuity with precision timekeeping.
Complete Movement
A complete movement is the full internal mechanism of a watch, including the parts needed to power, regulate, and display the time. Depending on the type, it may be mechanical, automatic, quartz, or chronograph-based. Complete movements are useful for repairs, restoration, donor parts, or movement swaps when the original mechanism is missing, damaged, incomplete, or beyond economical repair.
