Founded in 1879, Landeron was a highly influential Swiss movement manufacturer, primarily celebrated for its robust and widely used chronograph movements. The brand became a key supplier of chronograph calibres to numerous watch brands, especially during the mid-20th century. Its most famous movements include the manual-wind Landeron 48, which was one of the most produced chronograph movements in history, and the Landeron 51. While Landeron did not produce its own finished watches, its movements powered countless iconic chronographs, making it an indispensable part of horological history and the development of sports timing.

Complete Movement

A complete movement is the full internal mechanism of a watch, including the parts needed to power, regulate, and display the time.
