Spring

Springs are used throughout a watch movement to provide tension, return force, indexing, or stored energy for different mechanisms. They can be found in winding systems, setting mechanisms, chronographs, calendars, and other functions. Watch springs are commonly replaced when weak, bent, broken, corroded, or no longer providing the correct pressure for reliable operation.
