Valjoux

Valjoux is a historic Swiss movement manufacturer best known for its legendary mechanical chronograph calibres. Founded in the early 20th century in the Vallée de Joux, Valjoux produced reliable and widely used movements for many respected watch brands, including Heuer, Breitling, Rolex, Omega, and many others. Its calibres, such as the Valjoux 72 and Valjoux 7750, are admired for their durability, serviceability, and important role in the development of modern chronograph watches.

Barrel

The barrel is the part of a mechanical watch movement that houses the mainspring, which stores and releases energy to power the watch. As the mainspring unwinds, the barrel transfers power through the gear train to keep the movement running.
