Founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot, Zenith is a prestigious Swiss watch manufacture renowned for its in-house movements and exceptional chronometric precision. The brand is most famous for creating the El Primero" in 1969, one of the first automatic high-frequency chronograph movements, capable of measuring time to 1/10th of a second. Famous models include the Chronomaster, the Defy, and various pilot's watches. Zenith is a true manufacture, developing all its movements in-house, with the El Primero calibre being its most iconic. Cristal & Plexi

Crystal and plexi parts are the transparent covers that protect the dial and hands of a watch. They may be made from acrylic, mineral glass, sapphire, or other materials depending on the watch model and period. Crystals and plexi are commonly replaced when scratched, cracked, cloudy, chipped, or no longer sealing properly against dust and moisture.
