Bezel
The bezel is the ring surrounding the watch crystal and dial, often serving both decorative and functional purposes. Depending on the watch type, a bezel may be fixed, rotating, engraved, or fitted with an insert for timing functions such as diving or elapsed time measurement. Bezels are commonly replaced when they are scratched, dented, missing, or no longer secure on the case.
